3MT Faculty winners

Updated: Sep 24

Congratulations to the winners of the University of Adelaide 2024 Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences 3 Minute Thesis Faculty Final:

Matthew Summers - ICU to Recovery: Fighting Muscle Wasting (Adelaide Medical School)

Isabella Burdon - How to Kill a Superbug (Adelaide Medical School)

Chan Chee Ho - Predicting Hip Implant Failure (Adelaide Medical School)

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a skills development activity that challenges Higher Degree by Research students to explain their research project to a public audience in just three minutes.

The event also provides students with opportunities to network with other higher degree research students, professionals and faculty, and to promote their field of research.

NCHRF is proud to support this event each year, and each year we are excited by the breadth of topics presented and the high standard exemplified by the participants. We wish our three winners all the best as they now go forward to for the University of Adelaide finals and hopefully progress to compete. The University winners will then progress to compete in the Asia-Pacific 3MT Final in October.
