Congratulations to the recent recipients of the Northern Community Health and Research Foundation Prizes, Javad Angom Shoae and Madison Boda.
Javad is a post graduate student in the Adelaide Medical School, NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Translating Nutritional Science to Good Health. His poster was titled Intraduodenal Administration of Calcium Enhances the Suppression of Energy Intake and Simulation of Plasma Cholecystokinin by L-tryptophan in Healthy Males.
Madison, a post graduate student in the School of Biomedicine, presented a poster titled Diet, Physical Activity and Sleep on Motor Function and Motor Fatigue in People with Multiple Sclerosis: A Scoping Review.
The winners are shown here with Professor Suren Krishnan, Board Member of the Northern Communities Health Research Foundation and Executive Dean, Professor Andrew Zannettino, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Adelaide, who presented the winners with their prizes at the Florey Postgraduate Research Conference at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
