Dr Peter Grace returns to Adelaide as 2025 Visiting Professor

NCHRF is pleased to announce our 2025 Visiting Professor is Dr Peter Grace, a renowned expert in chronic pain therapeutics.


Associate Professor and Chair ad interim of the Department of Symptom Research, Director of the Preclinical Neurobehavioral Core, and Associate Lead of the CCSG Cancer Neuroscience Program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. 


Dr Grace completed his graduate training in pharmacology at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and a NHMRC CJ Martin postdoctoral fellowship in neuroimmunology at the University of Colorado Boulder. His studies have identified new drug targets for pain, leading to the founding of ImmunoLogic Inc. to develop non-opioid therapeutics.


Dr Grace will be in Adelaide from Monday 30 June to Tuesday 8 July to commence a program of events and presentations at which he will share his insights and expertise with practitioners, researchers and students in general and community health.
